Stuckli Ballonfiesta
We hope that we will be able to hold the Stuckli Balloon Fiesta in 2025. At the moment we cannot make a definite commitment for Saturday, February 8, 2025, but more information will follow.
Spectacular crowd takeoff
On Saturday, 8 February 2025, the sky above Sattel-Hochstuckli will be adorned with colorful hot-air balloons. The crowd take-off shortly before midday will take place at the back of the Sattel-Hochstuckli ski area, near Herrenboden.
The pilots start preparing for the take-off at 10.30 am. Visitors are cordially invited to look over the balloonists' shoulders and experience first-hand how the impressive balloons are prepared for take-off. A special highlight is the “Sattel-Hochstuckli” balloon from local pilot and co-organizer Daniel Ganz, which this year is equipped with a brand new balloon envelope that will be ceremoniously presented and christened during the event.
The Stuckli Balloon Fiesta is dependent on the weather. The event can only take place as planned if the launch site and weather conditions are suitable.
If a postponement is necessary, the following alternative dates are available: February 16, February 22, February 23, March 1 and March 2, 2025.
