Market drivers wanted - focus on craftsmanship and tradition


Next winter, Sattel-Hochstuckli AG is organizing a Twelfthtidemarket on the Mostelberg for the first time from 27 to 29 December 2024. Embedded in an atmospheric supporting program with lectures, legends and customs, we would like to offer visitors a unique market that reflects the special atmosphere of the Twelfthtide.

We are particularly looking for suppliers of handcrafted products and traditional goods, or even those with a direct connection to the Twelfthtides or to customs. Christmas items are not suitable for this market, as it takes place after the holidays. Food-only stalls are also not welcome, as there are already catering facilities on the Mostelberg and only a normal power connection (230 V) is available on site.

We cordially invite you to present your products at this Rauhnachtsmarkt and offer them for sale. According to our research, this is the first and only Twelfthtidemarket in Switzerland!


Registration and selection procedure:
There are only 20 market stalls available. We check every application and select the market traders on the basis of the offer. Be quick, because the earlier you register, the better your chances of getting a stand.

Why take part?
Sattel-Hochstuckli is a popular local recreation area in the Zug/Zurich region and attracts up to 1,500 - 2,000 visitors a day in good conditions between Christmas and New Year. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to present your products to a wide audience.


Organizational details

  • Market stall: A wooden stall with side walls and a power connection (230 V) will be provided.
  • Market hours:
    December 27: 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. (set-up from 9 a.m.)
    December 28: 14.00 - 20.00 h
    December 29: 12.00 - 16.00 (dismantling from 16.00)
  • Access: Access with the utensils is possible up to the valley station of the gondola lift. Transport of the items for sale is by cable car.

  • Storage: The stands must be cleared during the night; the utensils can be stored in a room provided by us.

  • Costs: The stand fee is CHF 150 per stand and also includes the cost of transporting the goods and 2 people on the gondola lift during the three days.
